Donna Minor

Donna Nelson Minor grew up in Greenville, S.C. She graduated High School in 1986 and then attended North Greenville College as an Art Major. Donna moved to Aiken in 1991. After many years of being out of the art scene, in 2009, she joined the Art Association of Ridge Spring and served as Secretary for several years. She learned pine needle coiling from an artist friend and it has become her signature style. Donna began competing as an artist in 2011 and has been successful in several shows every year. "I have always loved and appreciated art from a very early age. I feel that even after many years, there is still so much to learn and there is always room to grow." 2025 has been a very successful year. I made the S.C. Festival of Flowers Show, AAG Show, N.A. Spring Show - 1st in 3-D, and N. Augusta Open Sessions Show- Best in Show.
