A native of Connecticut, Judy Adamick previously worked in oils and acrylics for over 20 years. Upon moving to South Carolina, Judy has studied with a succession of distinguished watercolor artists and teachers, becoming a full-time professional artist in 1992.

Extensive participation in regional shows has led to many awards including “Member of Excellence” in the South Carolina Watermedia Society.

Judy is a member and past President and Vice President of the Aiken Artist Guild. She is also a member and past Exhibition Chairman of the South Carolina Watermedia Society. She illustrated a children’s book that her daughter wrote “The Princess of Hope Hill” and was included as an illustrator for a book published for the Aiken County Historical Museum entitled “Discovering Aiken with Children”.

In March of 1997, Judy participated in an exhibition in Paris. While living there for a month she studied the works of the old masters and attained one of her life’s goals; that is, to paint in Claude Monet’s gardens in Giverny, France.
