Ashley Slaughter

Hello my name is Ashley Slaughter and these are just a few imagines of things how I see them through my camera lens. With my autism I focus in on color and there surroundings, I love editing my photos but my favorite thing is when a raw photograph needs no editing to be beautiful on its own. I was in a traumatic car accident in 2009  that crushed both my arms, and dislocated my shoulder. While in ICU I had two strokes and suffered some brain damage, as well as several reconstructive  surgery's to repair my arms and shoulder. Its only been four years since that every changing day, but with the grace of God and the love of my family im am healing everyday. My photography has always played an important role in my recovery. Helping me to get back on my feet, and to be excited about life once again, with that I hope you enjoy my work and outlook.
