Library Painting Group

We work together to enjoy our passion for art and to support each other’s endeavors. It is a fun and welcoming group, but it is a studio setting not a formal class. .You can paint in the medium of your choice: people use oils, acrylics, watercolor, and even things like alcohol ink or gouache. The skill level is from beginner to quite experienced You need to bring all the materials needed for whichever art medium you plan to use. Also having paper towels, a pillow case and towel to cover the chair, and references to paint from are strongly encouraged. Space is limited and at times there is a waiting list, so if you’re interested, contact Janet Robinson at the Library, 803-642-2020: she will take your information and pass it on to the group leaders, who will let you know when there is an opening.
