Lisa Anne Tindal

My return to art began with simple sketches of women in my Bible’s margin. Over time, I moved to canvas and began exploring ways to tell “redemptive stories” through my work. My technique and esthetic began to change slowly as I became more brave in expressions that were authentically me. I believe the choice to create artwork and to share it is a brave one. As I’ve continued to reflect on my story of past trauma, I’ve continued even more purposefully to share my work, my interpretations of the strengths despite struggle, the courage in the face of fear and the tenacity of women who daily decide to continue to believe and to believe in themselves.

Quiet confidence is an expression I use to describe my approach to painting. I believe a sense of rest leads to artwork that creates an emotional response in the viewer. My mission is to illuminate the path of hope and healing through art, deeply rooted in my faith. I create evocative and meaningful pieces that reflect redemption and courage. My personal story of surviving trauma influences my commitment to inspire, uplift, and connect with individuals, offering a beacon of light in their journey.
