September 11 Aiken Artist Guild Meeting
The next meeting of the AAG will be held on Monday, September 11. Our guest speaker for the evening will be Kristi Jilson of Westobou. Social and networking from 6:30 to 7:00 pm; business meeting beginning at 7:00 pm at the Aiken Center for the Arts, 122 Laurens Street SW, Aiken.
Kristi joined the executive leadership team at Westobou in early 2014. She is responsible for overseeing all strategic and operational efforts, financial planning and fundraising, and the artistic direction of the organization’s multi-arts festival, year-round gallery space, and various other events and programs. Prior to Westobou, Kristi worked in various management roles for the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Additionally, Kristi has a diverse arts administration background including co-founding an artist co-op and serving on multiple Boards and committees. She is an ambitious leader whose enthusiasm for projects is contagious. Kristi is a 2007 graduate of SCAD.
